Is Richard Logan re-joining Exeter City?

Rumours doing the rounds of the Cat and Fiddle suggest that if Richard Logan gets his fitness organised he’ll be offered a new contract with the Grecians.

His Twitter account his full of his fitness work, such as being out in the rain for a 30 minute run.

Another run done in the rain .only 30mins but was at a good

Not looking forward to my run in this rain.rev gonna b cold #crazy frog

Its clear that he is not being considered by other clubs, and isn’t being offered trials anywhere. If he can meet the targets of our fitness coach, then fully expect a new contract to be offered towards the end of July. Whether this is a good decision, is another matter. Obviously it would please Logan, as he does love the club, and the adulation he gets from so may fans. He loves being reminded of his goal at Torquay and at the Don Valley. But if he signs on the dotted line, will he make many appearances? Will he be a sensible use of a tight budget?

If he keeps his fitness levels up, then he would make a good impact sub and cover for injuries, but would still leave Tisdale with a striker shortage if John O’Flynn does indeed move on. Many would welcome him back to St James Park.
