Don't know enough about Williams' defensive abilities or work rate yet but my preferred line-up would be one with some natural width to it. If Taylor's serious about being a 'running side' we need to put players in positions that they want to run into, i.e. not sticking Nicky Law wide left!
Way too early to tell but I like the look of:
Pym
Brown - A Martin - O'Shea
Wilson - Boateng - Taylor - Law - Moxey/Williams
Bowman - L.Martin/Forte
If Williams can adapt to a wing-back role, or if Jaden Brown appears good enough, I'd like to see us try some young and hungry players out wide as wing backs. Don't think we stretch teams enough and nor do we have consistent enough creativity to play through the middle or, sadly, a big enough target man to get on the end of long balls. Let's get some pace out wide and look for overlaps.
