Don't know enough about Williams' defensive abilities or work rate yet but my preferred line-up would be one with some natural width to it. If Taylor's serious about being a 'running side' we need to put players in positions that they want to run into, i.e. not sticking Nicky Law wide left!

Way too early to tell but I like the look of:

Pym

Brown - A Martin - O'Shea

Wilson - Boateng - Taylor - Law - Moxey/Williams

Bowman - L.Martin/Forte

If Williams can adapt to a wing-back role, or if Jaden Brown appears good enough, I'd like to see us try some young and hungry players out wide as wing backs. Don't think we stretch teams enough and nor do we have consistent enough creativity to play through the middle or, sadly, a big enough target man to get on the end of long balls. Let's get some pace out wide and look for overlaps.

Lee Holmes as a wing back ??? (tmi)
Not necessarily, though perhaps this young Brown chap would be more suited to the role.

This really is just another one of your threads in the same old formula. Start by asking for peoples opinions on a subject, and then just snipe at them. As Al20k asked above and you chose to ignore, what are YOUR THOUGHTS ? Presumably you do not find it so enjoyable that way around ! :)
If you can actually be bothered to check any of the previous threads I have created regarding team selections you will see I have regularly posted my preferred team.

See:

Where on earth have I sniped at someone on this thread, I merely gave the impression Holmes is not a wing back.

If you consider that to be sniping you really do need to man up.

Hopefully he is the answer, to be fair I quite like the rest of your side.

Pym

O'Shea - Troy Brown - Moxey

Wilson - Jaden Brown (Both as wing backs)

Taylor - Collins

Law - Boateng

Bowman

Subs: Hamon - Sweeney - Aaron Martin - Lee Martin - Holmes - Williams - Forte

When everyone is fit we have a very strong squad imho with lots of variety, I haven't see Williams yet however he may push ahead of Boateng, Lee Martin also pushes Boateng close.

Wilson and brown are wing backs, I messed up trying to make it look like a formation and law would be central just infront of other 2 midfielders
