12 - Plymouth Argyle received more red cards than anyone else with 12 after committing 533 fouls
.........

393 - Exeter City were the cleanest team in the division with just 393 fouls in 46 games

Awaiting the rise of the academy boys.
Sometimes we could do with the cynical/professional midfielder to make that challlenge, take a card, and stop the opposition.

Not sure the lack of cards is necessarily a good thing.

Rob Edwards was excellent at knowing when to step across a player, and take a card to benefit the side.

Richard Duffy is another exponent of this 'skill.'

Not sure Duffy has decided yet when it is right to do so, and when it is right not to.

A lack of cards is a good thing. Club that have fewer bookings and sendings off perform better.

I personally couldn't give a t*ss about how many cards we have as long as we win. For example, in the last minute against Plymouth when Tully made that last ditch tackle, I honestly thought he was going to flatten him just outside the area to stop him scoring, and would rather he did that than decide not to get a card and let him score. Fair tackle was obviously better though.

Well there are cynics out there that will see this as our namby pamby style of play but to me it means that we are one of the best pure footballing side in the league.

To those that think we should be more like lowly Tranmere it's interesting to note that they had an average of four shots on goal per game, exciting or what?
