No different to you keep banging on over and over that this was wrong and that was wrong, the style of playing was wrong, the manager was crap, the team was bad and so on and so on.......... and everything you thought was wrong has been fixed by one one simple part. It really wasn't that hard to see.........
It's not the only thing thats changed though, is it?

No, but as I said in response to Rosie's post about us not conceding goals as was the case early in the season, the defence aren't under so much continuing pressure because more pressure is being applied to their opposite numbers. Why do you think that is happening? 🤔 Is it because we have a striker, an outlet, a way to get forward??

Good to get something off of Wigan at last after many years of losing to them.
Also pleased for GC to get the last laugh this season.

Well done City.

Yeah, if you've only got a hammer everything is a nail, isn't it. You could equally make the case that we're creating chances off the back of Diabate/Jules being introduced to the back 3 and the newfound solidity. Or that we've now got more dynamic wingbacks, or that Cole had found a run of form. It's called confirmation bias. The new striker has played one game.

Ian, I said it was an issue in August, you thought it would be ok - you have proven your Summer self wrong :)

It's amazing what happens when you've got a striker up front. Ready to accept the simplistic answer yet or are you all still looking for the 'deeper, more intrinsic' answer. What was it Shankley said........... something along the lines of 'Football is a simple game complicated by fools' I see you all with your 'Pep' jibes. We aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination and there will be days when the side and Caldwell will frustrate us to hell and back but the 'bad team' look so much better now the missing part has been fitted. ;)
Quite agree Ian, but Eisa started his first game for us today. Our form improved well before we even signed him. Beat Barnsley without him for instance.
