I'd like to see Sweet Caroline as a chant btw, the chorus bit.
Isn't it Torquays run out song though??

Cant see why it matters. It's a friendly derby with them. I have 0% negative feelings towards that club.

Don't get me wrong I like the song but it just feels a bit cheap hijacking somebody else's song....why not something from Dido to celebrate our lucky seagull??

Definitely heard it last time we played at Plainmoor, not sure if they still run out to it though.

Still, shouldn't matter regardless. If playing it helps gee the players up greatly, I'm all for it.

Would probably only want to hear it after the game, if we win(so not very often).

Definitely not as goal music and can't see the sense in the players running out to it.

All sounds a bit tin pot to me.

It was great entertainment as a one-off moment, but as a regular feature at SJP, no thanks. A run out tune needs a lot more oomph, to pump up both the players and the crowd, and frankly it is tune more suited for a Tuesday Afternoon Karaoke session down at an old folks home.
