0.6% quarterly growth for an advanced economy is not “tiny”.
It's below the OECD quarterly average since 2021....

My point still stands.

So, while Natalie is snuggling up to Sir Keir, David Lammy is courting Trump.
Trump’s views on Europe ‘misunderstood’, says Lammy (msn.com)
We do indeed live in topsy-turvy times. 😕
I don’t think the Red Queen is snuggling up to Natalie mind.

Jezza and Diane Abbott shut out of the Labour Party while a lady with very right wing views is allowed in. It’s a funny old world indeed.

However it does mean that Alistair20000 can no longer recycle my prediction that Sadiq Khan was at risk of losing the London mayoral election.
It will never be forgotten art. Possibly the worst prediction in political history EVER

BTW Do you think Sir Keith has offered Natalie a peerage ? If so what would be your view of that ?

Loved this 1997 quote by Adrian Rogers, the Godfather of social conservatism :)

“Bradshaw is a homosexual, works for the BBC, rides a bicycle, speaks German: he’s everything about our country that is wrong.”

To think he was a doctor. Loathsome individual.

Elphicke’s local CLP not happy and are seeking to block her membership.
Are Starmer and Gray guilty of politicking a bit too much with the Elphicke ‘coup’?

Israel winning a famous victory in Eurovision on a wave of public sympathy, would be too hilarious for even me to contemplate. 😎

I bet if I wanted to join the labour party and asked my view on the world and came out with some of the stuff Elphicke comes out with, I'd soon be heaved out the door.

Yes, I remember sitting on Cathedral Green on that fine May morning thinking "I'm in a city where 30,000 people have just voted for an openly gay man". This just 14 years after the toxic Bermondsey by election..
The local churches campaigned against purely because of his sexuality.
