It's never brilliant hence why you don't have to be a brilliant side to get out of it - we've over-complicated our football at this level way too much since relegation 5 seasons ago , teams suss us out in a few weeks - they know on a warm sunny day when the sprinklers have been on and the pitch is slick and it's a game of football we're probably one of the best if not the best passing sides in the division

On the flip side they also know especially at home that when the weather turns and the pitches are heavier and not as suited to passing football we're clueless at out fighting or out battling a side given the make up of our side

It's not rocket science
Yeah, because we had a terrible December, January and February last season, didn't we.

Maybe we should just lump it long to a big target man like we did against Port Vale.

Oh.

With 1 win in 7 league games & were still 4th , the division is so poor.
So does the fact that it is so poor mean there are fewer points available? or perhaps they are so bad that in many games both teams lose and so gain no points?
Maybe, just maybe the division is so good that anybody can beat anybody and so the accumulation of points is slower and more evenly distributed.

As with last season there are no real stand out teams. Luton have scored 22 in three games but they have also dropped points to supposedly lesser teams. The question to ask is League Two as a group comprised of good or poor teams. Taking our own experience to the best of my recollection even when winning games there have been only three where we have looked head and shoulders above our opponents namely the two home games against Crewe and Morecambe and away at FGR. Similarly, possibly with the exception of Coventry away, Port Vale at home and last night’s game at Crawley, when losing we have not played badly and neither of the score lines against Notts County and Luton were true reflections of those games.
