What's even more incredible is that Gloucester are in National League NORTH!
Bbc sport listing this match as abandoned for reasons unknown ? A long trek for a home match only for it to be abandoned.

Yes a bad injury to an away player after an hour so the game got abandoned. So another game to fit in

In good news for all northerners, midlanders and anybody else who knows any geography, Bishop's Stortford have now been relegated from the same league.

Probably good news for Bishop's Stortford fans as well!

Forest Green were due to start the 2005/06 season in Conference North after finishing in the relegation places, but were reprieved after Northwich Victoria were removed from the Conference National due to issues surrounding their stadium.

Well that's one proper club back in The League then. Hopefully it is bye bye to Village Green going the other way.

Forgot to mention Oxford City were relegated yesterday from the NL after their 2-1 defeat at Flyde.

Delighted for Chesterfield, a properly supported club who have not only had the six season stint in the National League but also had all sorts of issues with a right **** of an owner and stooge CEO on the way down, and in their early years there.

They've had an incredible season. I've a lot of time for Paul Cook, who we poached from them after he got them in to the L1 play-offs and we needed someone to get us out of League 2. He's now assisted by Gary Roberts, who was his talisman as a player there during his first stint and followed him to Fratton Park when we appointed Cook as manager.

To confirm promotion from the NL with so many games to spare is incredible, but not a surprise. They knocked us out of the FA Cup in November - we played a full strength side and they were as good as pretty much anyone we've faced in League One this season. They've several players who could do a very good job in League 1 - including a couple formerly of my parish. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dobra playing in the upper echelons of L1 next season either.

Congratulations to Chesterfield. Delighted for the club and what a season they have had. I think they would've held their own in league one this season. Good side

I hear Caldwell has been asked to the celebrations.
