Far away across the field
I enjoyed the bits where I wasn't asleep or cooking and eating tea.

How many points do I get for saying the connection in the quick fire round was that they are all Exwebbers?
Not everyone worked that out! (cough, cough.....Sturtz.....cough).

Not only Exewebbers, but everyone on the final leaderboard was included in this quiz - either in the warm up, the main quiz or in today's Quick-fire round.

I gave a few homages to a few people whilst doing this quiz - my dad Graham Parker of course, our Championship winning team, our Women's team, our unsung hero employees and, of course, all of you wonderful people who not only played a big part in, but were also a big part of, this year's quiz.

Thanks for contributing and making it such fun. Final leaderboard to follow......

I think Spodders won a little more easily as I believe his 7 Roys convert to 2 actual points with one left over at midnight

Just saying.

SUMMARY

This year's EACQ winner, spodman, deserves the title after winning a massive 9 points today, which Alistair just couldn't do anything about and haka was probably still in bed for (maybe tactically.....). Spoonz gave us an impressive late run with an equally impressive 9 point haul today which took him into the European places. HH12, haka and TheManFromDelMonte struggled today meaning that they remained in strong positions in the table but never threatened the title.

I think my favourite question in terms of winding you all up was probably the Porsche one, but my favourite one I created was the Andrew P one (Brakes > AP Leamington > Andrew P from Leamington).

I had great fun anyway, some of your answers had me chuckling away and I enjoyed giving out the Roys. Thanks for being such a great audience.

And with that, I'm signing out, adios amigos.

I’m happy with my 18th place and would grab that for City now.
Well done Fred.
I think you did a great job especially considering you were working and travelling whilst you were in the hot seat.
Hopefully you’ll have the chance of a rest over the next few days.
