Nah he could not wait to get back up to the NE which is and always has been his home.
Wasn't the reason that he left ECFC for Daggers because his wife was/is a very successful - certainly earning more than he did - Solicitor in Essex?

Really? Who'd have thought a 2 month loan deal at Barnsley could have been so formative?
Still banging them in for Bishop's Stortford when he's not gorging himself senseless on pease pudding and newky brown.

The list of possibles just seems like a list of players who've pulled on the shirt in the last 15 years. Rowan Ricketts anyone?

God, some of the names being touted make my blood run cold.

Stability and continuity. We are in a good place as club, we want to keep the spine of the team together. I'd love Matt Taylor, who has really impressed with the U23s; and be happy with Oakley too, who has a very good grasp of the game and the club. I wouldn't say no to the likes of Tully, Carlisle, even Ampadu Sr.

Someone from Southampton, so Matt Hale, Danny Butterfield or the legend that is Rob Edwards.
You must be joking with Edwards? No positive track record of management. Relegated Tranmere .

Jamie Cureton on Twitter says he's not ready for such a job. But happy to be an assistant manager!

So far no mention of; Martin Rogers, Richard Pears, Chris Vinicombe or Ray Pratt! All live within 20 miles of C&F/SJP so would satisfy those who argues against Tis living up near Bath!!!!
