It's obviously us, especially considering the BCFC connections...

Quality player in his day, I worry that he's lost his pace.

stuff pace, we'll need players who can keep the ball next season

I can only assume from that that Tiz had major doubts as to whether Murray would have the necessary desire and hunger after leaving Bristol City. Given his poor showing at Reading the previous time he left Ashton Gate this may turn out to be a good decision by Tiz. Given that we can't compete financially with most in this league it appears our 'trump card' could be retaining a squad that want to give their all for each other - perhaps Tiz didn't see enough in Murray's eyes to warrant a contract. He prides himself on not giving contracts easily.

I do however reserve the right to dismiss this opinion should Murray score a hat trick against us in August!
