I can't think of any established (non youth) player who has made the jump from League Two to the Premier League. Anyone got suggestions?

Most in my mind go to the Championship or League 1 and move up from there. 1.8m is definitely one of the highest fees ever received by a league 2 club.

Chris Smalling went from Maidstone to Fulham when they were in the Premier League. I'm not quite sure how old he was when he was at Maidstone but he was playing Premier League football with a season of arrving at Fulham.

Matt Phillips from Wycombe...might well have gotten to the Premier League via the championship though.

Same story with Grant Holt...Shrewsbury to Norwich but might have been promoted with them.

Stuart Pearce maybe? Jimmy Bullard?
