Dennis Sutherland.................. nah, I hadn't heard of him either. But when I tell you he illustrated The Bash Street Kids and Dennis the Menace then those of us of a certain vintage will instantly have a high regard for his work.

Sad news indeed.
But one small pedantic point. To the best of my knowledge he was never a full member of Buffalo Springfield - that was Stephen Stills (and/or Neil Young). He apparently just filled in for Young at a gig for one night only (at the Monterey festival).

Sad news that, As with many of us of a certain age having a comic each week was a highlight, As a younger kid The Beano or Dandy was a must read, As we grew older we liked more "Adventure" type comics but I still bought a Beano annual well into adulthood, In fact for a few years my kids would buy me one for Xmas.
