Probably remembered by a lot of people for Hi Ho Silver Lining but Jeff Beck was so much more than that one song, His collaborations with so many great singers/bands showed how good a musician he was and the go to person if they needed an awesome guitarist on an album they were working on. So many of these greats are passing now shows that golden era of the 60's/70's is quite a long time ago and those musicians are all getting on in years. RIP

It doesn't seem that long ago that Jeff Beck appeared for a gig with Joss Stone in Exeter's Mama Stones, although it was probably ten years ago. Sadly I missed it !

Reported as being due to bacterial meningitis!

Which is a double shock as I thought that primarily affected only younger people.

As a mark of respect to Mr Beck i wonder if Mr J is dancing a bolero rather than a jig today?

(PS: What a stellar line up there was on that recording! Frightening to realise that it was as long ago as 1967)

Daughter of actress Priscilla Beaulieu Presley, who played Jenna Wade in Dallas. Reported as heart failure similar to the cause of her fathers death at the age of 42.

On some level, it's a shock as she was at an awards ceremony earlier in the week. She was never a happy soul though. Hopefully she now finds peace.
