The driest desert in the world. Interesting place, includes the Salar where a lot of the world's lithium is extracted.

I have been there a few times, including in 2008 during el Niño when the main town San Pedro de Atacama had actually had significant rain, very unusual.

I was there in January 2017 and thunderstorms resulted in flash floods causing havoc with the graded roads.
Anyway back to big Nige. Glad he has got a team for the coming season.
