Roberts retired because of a knee injury and so he would have received an insurance payout which would have to be repaid. Far to big a risk for Tis' to pay the equivalent of a large fee to the insurance company for an severely injured player with well known alcohol problems which have required at least one stay in a clinic. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
