Now being realistic if we are to survive in league one we will need to add to the squad.

What are peoples opinions.

Mine for what they are worth.

A new Keeper-Jones is excellent at this level but i still think needs a few years before he is consistent and confident enough to be a league one keeper.

Defence.- Not to bad but could do with an old head to calm things down but do think troy is an excellent player and if we can keep him he will be a ledgend.

Midfield- Maybe 1 or 2 players to support the likes of harley and moxey and to replace edwards as he is 100 next week.

Upfront we really need a 20 goal a year man fleetwood is good as is mcallister but dont think either will bag alot of goals against league one defences. (Have heard Michael Owen wll be available when newcastle get relegated LOL.)

Any ideas or opinions

A discussion for tomorrow. Let's just enjoy today.

I'm with 40 fans in a curry house in Sheffield. Just celebrating.

In Tis we trust but i do think we need to get any signings early so they have time to bed in and also to get them at the cheapest price possible.

Am sure if hes honest tis has already got a list of new guys and sadly theguys that will not be at the park next year

I have had a little bet with Mackster, I reckon the starting line up day 1 will contain 6 of the current squad, ex loanees, he took 7.

I think it will depend a lot on the management mindset, if they run scared and go for hanging on then maybe one or two changes, should they want more, which I think is likely, then we shall need to stiffen the squad with quality which may mean a few bauys moving on.

I think that is a fair shout. I wouldn't be surprised to see Billy Jones or George Friend back at the park and in a City shirt next season, only a hunch, nothing more.

BJ is a fair shout but I think Mick Mac would want Championship minimum for George.

Gary Sawyer would be nice.

Much along my thinking as well. (Though I've never been a BJ fan TBH, but can see it happening, possibly.)

Moxey, Gilly, Jones, Taylor, Seaborne (if he gets his head sorted) Big Mac, and possibly one or two others are capable I would say.
