Yep, Grey feckers.

I was in the Highlands recently & saw a Red Squirrel, very rare in the U.K. Just a few areas left that the Grey invaders have not taken over.

Have you tried barley straw? Does seem to work. Just not immediately

Have you tried barley straw? Does seem to work. Just not immediately
Tried a couple of times but not effective sadly. Maybe this is because we have a lake that is 60 yards by 20 yards and deep. This leaves donning body size waders and dragging the feckin’ stuff out with a very wide rake. Too deep to reach some of the nasty green slime though :(

Ah, didn’t realise you were landed gentry. Assumed you had a little goldfish pond :LOL:

Maybe take a leaf out of the tench fishers book and construct a rake on a rope? It’s a good workout
