I was in the same year at the same school as Jerry Yates mum so I could have a word and persuade her to get him to return back to good old South Yorkshire. That's the best I can do though. :)

Salford have done some good business in that window and could still sneak the playoffs.....

I don’t think they quite will this season but reckon there nailed on for a proper promotion push next season

Their fans will be delighted. At first glance it might seem odd being just after the window closes leaving an incoming manager with no chance of strengthening the team, but with the financial crisis they are undergoing, I guess they wouldn't have any money to spend anyway. They seem to be unloading their top earners on unsustainable League 1 wages. Not only selling Doyle, but also sending their top scorer out on loan too !
