Comfortably mid-table
No chance of him going to MK Dons in the near future.
Except, hopefully, on August 25th.

If the rumors are true I wouldn't even blink unless 1m was offered. Keep him, get promoted, and then offer a good Div 1 salary.
I'd have thought you would get a million or thereabouts relatively easily at the moment as the market for centre forwards this summer has been crazy.

Reading have reportedly paid £1.2m rising to £1.5m for Marc McNulty who is nearly 26 and hasn't played above L1 level and didn't exactly excel there when he was at Sheffield United. Bristol City are reported to have paid similar for Mo Eisa from Cheltenham - this is for a 24-year old who has had one season of L2 football.

It's whether you can get a good enough replacement without spending too much that dictates whether any sale equals good business in most instances (see Coventry).

Only one year left on his contract, according to the E & E.

I find that quite surprising given the amount we paid. Not really protecting our investment.

They also seem to think that he scored 24 goals in 25 games Only. Some strike rate that.

Aren’t they picking that up from the Sky article?

Another factor that may work in our favour is that his wife is due to give birth so a move up north may not be the best idea. That said if he’s offered a huge pay rise he’d probably make it work!

Found this. If it's accurate his contract expires at the end of June 2019.

If this is correct, you would assume we've made efforts to get him to sign an extension. Otherwise I don't see we have much option but to sell if a big offer comes in.

This site is normally one big guessing game in regards to co contracts.

At the forum last night Jayden confirmed that his wife/partner is expecting their second child due in a fortnight’s time.

I reckon she would be even less keen than us City fans on Jayden moving to Ipswich Sunderland Preston or Milton Keynes by 9 August...
