Just need Creds, Manc and F7 and it'll be a proper reunion. Isn't this what Fridays are for?

:D
At least it's a decent debate regardless of how right or wrong we think each others opinions are. You don't get many of them on here these days before somebody hijacks it with volley of personal abuse.

Interesting that.....the Oxford online definition of a striker is.....

Striker;
2. the player who is to strike the ball in a game; a player considered in terms of ability to strike the ball:a gifted striker of the ball

+ (chiefly in soccer) a forward or attacker

and Dictionary.com...

Striker;

–noun

9. Soccer . one of the attacking forwards.
Having got over the instant disregard for this Pete because of it's Americanism, go and get a football book of terminology so that it comes in the righ context.
I'm surprised in those definations, striker - Royal Mail worker.

Soccer is an Americanism
Charles Wreford-Brown would be appalled to read that. ;)

And for those who would like a break from the debate you can see how Jamie is doing on BBC 1 interactive (press the red button) obviously for those with Sky
Scotland game is on there.

Yeah replacing Miller who has been in the best form of his life.

I'm sure he'll win the fans over and he's earnt his chance. However to get thrown in at the deep end away in Prague in a massive game strikes me as a huge gamble. I guess he'll be out wide with Naismith through the middle.
Quite ironic given how this thread turned out that he's playing on the wing :)

Certainly putting himself about.
