Incredible man who saved Exeter City from financial oblivion on several occasions sacrifcing his own wealth for the club he loved. I had the pleasure of knowing him whilst I was working at the club during the Terry Cooper period. Very humble man. RIP Ivor

I once met ivor after the 3 nil fa cup defeat to Dagenham in a service station. He was a lovely bloke whom had exeter city's interests purely at heart at all times. This is really sad news for all city fans. He gave up a lot of cash to ensure our survival via the supporters Trust. What a decision in all our lives that was.

Very sad day for all those people with Exeter City in their heart...I didn't always agree with him, but I never ever doubted his love for the football club...A tale to be told for sure, but now is not the time..
