"I sat for about two hours on Friday night with Ollie"

Must have felt like about two DAYS for poor old Ollie....

Why would a club turn down £750,000 for a player in order to release him for FREE to another club?

Nice to see you back IJN. Just out of interest remind me and everyone else just how much profit PAFC made in the last financial year? Incidently the 16k break even figure was in the Plymouth Herald in 2006. I'm sure Mr Stapleton is a very good accountant by the way.
Don't you start AU.

Stapes budgeted for 16000 fans to come through the door, which has nothing to do with the break even figure.

The breakeven figure for each game for this season is 11,800. What that simply means is, no profit is made until that figure is achieved.

Sorry to patronise, but by jingo, there are some thickos on here.

doesnt matter how much you have spent ,it is how good they are.

I understand that Plymuth are better than us but you are underachievers you will not get into the premiership and you wil not stay in the chapionship for much longer. If your team want to waste money on players then fine by them.

Bought and sold enough to make another serious challenge for promotion.

Plymouth haven't.

We are not trying to live with the big boys.

Plymouth are.

We will not have to release players going out of contract because we can't afford to keep them.

Plymouth will have to do this, Ollie himself has said so.
