Surely the finest ever ice-cream/ice lolly combination was the Lyons Maid Mivvi (the original version, not the newer, inferior Nestle apology)? The raspberry one used to be my particular favourite.

Yep loved the Mivvi in all flavours. Not the UD definition mind. :$

Bumping as it's the summer (?) I've tried a Nuii. It's along the lines of a Magnum ie a choc ice with a lolly stick poked in, and it's damn good. Try it ice cream lovers.

Had a mint magnum today on the way back from Woolacombe. Got some Zoom lollies in the freezer, ice cold baby. Gonna have one because I am so hot . Love ice cream.

There used to be a hierarchy when I was young based on the number of kids the ice-cream van could attract.
Walls would lose out to Lyons Maid but Pollards would beat them hands down.
Then Mr Whippy came along with his new fangled secret ingredient of added oxygen and cleaned up.
