Because its the FA that suspends players as they count for all games not just League games, such as FA Cup games?

I understand that HUFC will not be deducted any points. The club will be fined, and Gary Liddle will face a further one game ban on top of the matches he has already missed. That is all. No official confirmation on club site, but the Northern Echo site has already picked up on it.
