why?? do you think if they bring in a new guy during the week they are going to sort out the problems in the space of 4 days??

i think in 4 days they might just about have had time to learn the names of the players and have a look at the ikea website to order their new desk......
anecdotally it often seems that the first game after a sacking results in a change of results

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Big game on Saturday, we have lost nicholls and possibly have big injury worries. Should be most home fans at the park this season apart from opening day and expectation will be high for three points due to our recent run and playing the bottom side who have just lost their manager. All the factors are there for an upset so I really hope we keep the run going for at least one more game.

I hate it when bottom of the league side part company with their managers and we play them next. Either two things happen, 1. A rocket has been inserted up the players and they come out and they wake up and perform out of the skins for the caretaker manger whom wants the job full time or 2. The morale is such that they dig themselves further in a rut. Lets hope for the latter.

indeed ! (shouldn't have dropped Deano)

But sides who were bottom of League Two between them have the best form in the country ...with 11 wins out of 12

Accrington were bottom but have since won 5 out of 6

City were bottom and have won 4 out of 4

Carlisle were bottom and changed their manager and have won 2 out of 2

Panic no more friends.

Word on the street is that Graham Cavanagh is the chosen one.

They weren't great but Hartlepool never looked like a bottom of the table side all afternoon.
