Confirmed my Uni housemate is joining us in the away end, I'm counting down the days.

Ironically the last time I saw him was in Grimsby, for he married a lass from there before they moved to Grantham.

The chippy near the ground is nowhere near as good as Steeles or Ernie Becketts in The Market Place. Steeles is only a restaurant though but a visit there is a must IF you have the time. I'm looking forward to the game too, hopefully we've turned the corner with our win at Carlisle on Tuesday night after 6 defeats on the spin and hopefully we'll get a decent result at home to Port Vale on Saturday too.

Looking forward to meeting up with a few of you for a couple of pre-match pints.

Better pack your thermals Wivey, the last time I stayed over I decided to go for a stroll along the seafront in Cleethorpes after breakfast on the Sunday morning. Now I was expecting it to be "bracing" and help clear away the cobwebs, but was totally unprepared for finding snow on the beach ! And that was at the end of October too, Brrrrr !

Looking forward to this - haven't been since being one of the Grimsby 70 a decade or so ago....
