Not worth a thread but what former player would make a good manager? Obviously that isn’t already a manager…

Always thought Moxey might go into coaching/management. “Went for the win, happy as Larry”.

and I was there to see it - long range effort that keeper should have saved. Other than that he was quietly efficient in midfield. More impressed with Jordan Slew and Charlie Brown (could we get him for paenuts?) upfront for Morecambe.

He said, many moons ago, that he was up for coaching, but didn't see himself as a manager. That sort of self awareness/analysis (assuming it's right!) is a really invaluable attribute.

I always thought Padraig Amond might return one day in some of coaching capacity but he seems to be happily settled back in Ireland.
