Not sure if any of you remember or were there that night in Crediton where James Berry horrifically broke his leg all but ending his career.

A piece in the Express & Echo today gives an update as to his career!

As a good friend of James', it's good to see him come out of it well!

Excellent story - perhaps he could put his new talents to use by suing the pants off the **** who smashed his leg up!

I was there that night and even though he was half a pitch length away when it happened the sound was utterly sickening. Makes me wince even now just thinking about it.
Nice to read of a bit of success for him - I wonder if the thug who assaulted him is still a knuckle dragging low life who spends his Saturdays kicking lumps out of people.

As an aside, did they get a five year old to write the article? I haven't seen such appalling English since the last time I logged in here.

Lad called Ben Harris from memory

Was a shocker of a tackle - remember just thinking that's bad it sounded nasty

I remember it clear as day, awful challenge and the Crediton player got a load of stick from his team mates afterwards too.

Horrible ****er (BH not JB). Used to play for Wonford on Sundays and trying to break legs was his MO. You were happy to come off the pitch walking, regardless of the result.
