If Bury do go out of the league.

Three teams will be relegated from League One.

Four teams will still be promoted from League Two.

But only one team will be relegated from League Two.

Already been classified by the EFL.

The EFL are idiots then and are making it up as they go along because they have already stated that three teams would be relegated from League One, and Five promoted from League 2 ! Only the EFL could go changing the goalposts mid season !

Just seen “breaking news” that Bury have been sold.
Ain't over until the proverbial fat lady sings, Dale might say the club is sold, but until the buyer's forensic due diligence is done, nothing is certain. After all, would you buy anything off of Mr Dale whatsoever without checking out absolutely everything ? And if the EFL won't wait you end up owning a club but no league to play in for the rest of the season !

Bury fans celebrating at the club something must have gone through?

Mr Dale choking on his own bull5hit may be the reason for that.

One thing the EFL would have belatedly learned(hopefully) from the whole sorry saga involving both Bury & Bolton is this all has to be sorted out & exclusions of ‘basket cases’ from the EFL at the annual AGM in June...It’s too late once the divisions have been ratified & the fixtures have come out.

Agreed, but it would be better still to act when the problems become evident in the first place, They should have "sorted" Bury out at the change of ownership by suspending them until Dale had submitted to the "fit and proper" ownership criteria and provided proof of funds.

Whats happened at Bolton & Bury is Shaun Harvey’s legacy as Football League Chief Executive. Two clubs on the verge of extinction because he prioritised money over due diligence of these prospective owners.
Lots of other EFL clubs are carrying huge debt.
A radical shake up is required,no doubt some clubs will be kicking & screaming about any sort of change.
