"At the moment" the pitch is fine. Yes, but with four more hours of rain??

If it's on, we need a win, any win.

It's proper horrible outside, cold and wet. Coatage selection will be of great importance today.

Don't even spare a thought for us saddo workers trying to follow the fun on Exeweb.
Been there, worn the shirt out, but eventually it changes BTF. Still remember it though.

Time for a win, however we get one, and a cheerful start to Christmas:D

Perceptive words there from Log. It's persisting down, driven along by a strong wind that has shifted round to SE, but is blowing 5 - 6, with some strong gusts. Temperature is a nominal 9c, but it's proper chilly out there. No sign that the rain will ease, with obdurate non-moveage from the barometer. Big bankers take heed of the words of Lionel. It's a proper nasty day out there, and I guess the outcome could just depend on which side
copes better with the truly hideous conditions. Now, where are the paracetamol?

Sweeney - O'Shea - Moxey - Woodman
Taylor - Law
Collins - L. Martin - Holmes
Stockley

I think that's the lineup? Perhaps swap Lee Martin for Law, or have Law on the left and Collins in the middle of the park, with Holmes on the right? Definitely an interesting one, very attacking.

Bench: Hamon, Tillson, A. Martin, Forte, Abrahams, Jay, Ogbene.

Croll and Oates nowhere to be seen.

Dropped to the bench. Wasn't the personnel change we expected in looking to stop soft goals - maybe he's carrying a knock? Would make sense not to risk a player on this pitch.
