I’ve watched the replay loads and still don’t know why Law chose to head it and not volley it!

He spoke about this in his interview with Radio Devon. He planned on volleying it, but his leg felt tight when lifting it up, so went for the header instead.

Perhaps he wanted to start off a week long argument about whether it was a diving header or a stooping header?

I think it was a back heel and nothing you or google say will convince me otherwise.
