Quite sad really when your team has been openly recognised as having a "long/high/direct ball" strategy
Whereas Carlisle is the Barcelona of Div 2. Couldn't give a sh*t what Curle thinks.

One of our better line-ups, but still relying on Stockley for the goals.

Good to have Sweeney back.

It is. A real success this season.

I think this is an ok line up for an away game but not for home. Surely to god City should be starting with 2 top front at home. Makes it easy for the opponent defenders as all they need to concentrate on is Stockley.

Defensively, very solid but again, where is the creativity?

Have you actually read the article? The points he makes are reasonable and he is complimentary about Tis.

Boateng, Harley and Holmes dare I suggest.

How is it an alternative when it's our preferred style of play?
Because it's what we're doing during the winter months. I'd expect us to go back to passing the ball around a bit more when the ground starts to be drier.

I'm willing to bet that the majority of balls towards Stockley will be over his head! Very little will be created from midfield.
