Surely that's all he talked about? Other than that, in the lst 13 odd years in management he's been tosh. Can't live on B2B promotions for ever, not like he did the double in the prem or anything.
That makes two of us.He chose to leave us,that was his choice that he didn’t take up the clubs offer,he moved onto pastures new and got Mk promoted,he got us promoted and did well, but I don’t want to read about Paul Tisdale end of !
If you could tell Paul Tisdale this, the problem would be solvedThat makes two of us.
An interesting read but sorry Tis the people that feel two back to back defeats the most are the fans. You were here for twelve years, we're here for life (unless you're Legohead). You will, and have, moved on but we have to live with it.Rebuilding from nothing - The Coaches' Voice
During a 12-year reign, Paul Tisdale took Exeter City from the brink of financial ruin to the highest league finish in their history. He tells the story of their risewww.coachesvoice.com
For anyone who’s interested
Well, he's kind of moved on and kind of not. I guess to be fair it was a considerable chunk of his life, his first professional managerial job, and the scene of his successes. You can take the.msn out of City but you can't take City out of the man.An interesting read but sorry Tis the people that feel two back to back defeats the most are the fans. Perhaps a way of claiming Matt Taylor”s success at challenging for the auto places is down to the team he built?Looks like he's trying to get his name back in the frame for potential jobs.
As well as this article, there's 2 X one hour interview on the EFL podcast website which are interesting to hear.
The second interview provides more information, from Tisdale's perspective of his latter stages with City. He goes in to some detail about the contract negotiations, and I'd be interested to hear Julian Tagg and Nick Hawker's views, in order to get a element of balance. Tisdale's views about how we would have coped, if we had beaten Blackpool in the play-off final surprised me. He thought that team was the best he had, through his whole time at City and would have done very well in League One!!
