The problen isn't what we think morally what Chelsea should pay. You think Chelsea has morals about money? They scoop up all the young talent knowing that a certain percentage will make the grade and toss the others aside. They also prevent the other big teams from getting their hands on this talent. No class

So, one of their reporters reads Exeweb. Proves nothing.
the only thing thats a 'given' are the figures set by the?,,, fa,,, mentioned earlier in this thread, which will in normal circumstances give us somewhere around 300g , this aint exactly normal, teenager post o'levels WALKS into premier lge squad and the manager proclaims him as the 'future ' of the current premier champions, its fairy tale, almost once in a generation stuff.

Via DevonLive.
"Paul Tisdale says there is still no news on negotiations between Exeter City and Chelsea over a compensation fee for Ethan Ampadu.
The duo seem set to go to a tribunal for the player, who made his first start for the Blues in last night's win over Everton.
Tisdale says he is not entirely sure how the process works but says there is no news just yet".

Surprised he doesn't know how the system works considering the Dunne and TAH cases. Bit of a porky pie, that one.

Two things. First none of us are really sure whether the criteria are different for a 16 year old not signing the scholarship deal compared to a professional out of contract. Secondly Perryman rather than Tisdale is the main man re the Tribunals and negotiations.

Thirdly, Tisdale always says he's involved in all aspects of the team. You don't honestly think that Tisdale doesn't know how the system works do you? Regarding your first point, maybe we don't know but the club does. Don't see the relevance of your first point to my post.
