I cant imagine for a nano second we would have signed a player for a record sum, given him a 3 year deal but inserted a low release clause. I guess 'low' is subjective but I wouldn't imagine release clauses (aside from a certain ex capt) are anything you would see very often at L2 level.
There was a crazy clause in the JMT contract so who knows

I'll have a go.

Looking at it logically - Tis has already moved for JMT and Harley.
If he wanted Stockley as well then why wait?

We were told there were no similar clauses

Well, he might find that he has more budget remaining than he expected, for example. He didn't sign JMT and Harley at the same time. Are you Hants in disguise?

I'll let Hants be Hants and I'll be Kneesandboompsadaisy. ;)
Stockley isn't an afterthought player so, never rule out anything, but it doesn't feel likely to me.

I don't think it's likely either Spoonz, but I wouldn't rule it out. Maybe I'm just a born worrier..(worry)

The way Taylor was talking to me gave the impression that Stockley was firmly in his plans which doesn't give the impression that hes likely to leave. It would take a massive bid.

That’s pretty much what he said in his Q and A last week. Everyone has a price but for Stockley to leave we’d have to be offered big money as 25 goal a season strikers are like gold dust and unless there is a ridiculous clause in his contract, MK won’t have those kind of funds.
