Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark and Kubrick’s The Shining were being filmed at the same time at Elstree studios (which is pretty cool in itself) but one day Stanley Kubrick’s daughter was visiting the set and was upset at how the snakes were being kept on the Indiana Jones set so she called the RSPCA

Hmmmmmm just out of curiosity I checked the filming dates and The Shining was finished a year earlier….. so I suspect it’s one of those urban/internet myths sadly. Or she was visiting the studios for another reason. They don’t call me the Greek Poirot for nothing
