Tinpot club, in terms of club size they are conference national at best.
Agree with Sexton, PC. It's the kind of comment we get when we play a higher league club.

To be fair I was referring to the size of the club, if they achieve anything this season they will fully deserve it.

Rather a patronising comment all Clubs have to start somewhere and if they can keep up this form they could well end up making the playoffs.
They could, but how the hell are they going to stay in business with crap attendances like tonight?

Good game to watch...Crawley a totally different team to previous seasons, lots of pace and width, but without much end product. In fact ,neither team created much until the game broke up a bit in the 2nd half..I think Crawley probably shaded it for their dominance in the middle of the 2nd period. Moxey struggled with the pace of Young and Taylor looked more intent on kicking people than creating anything. We looked better when Stockley came on, but fair play to Crawley they carried on bombing forward even after we scored. Quietest City support in living memory...Not sure why, but hardly a sound all game...

Crawley reeks of non league football.

Agree with all the above. Thought Taylor had a shocker, he seems to have turned into Harley. He was 3rd to every 2nd ball all night, and played very few attacking balls. We were under the cosh for most of it, and for long spells couldn't spring 3 passes together but Pym didn't have too much to do. Croll and Martin were pretty solid and organised, as they had little help in front of them until Law switched to the middle.

They kept 2 players wide the whole game, pressed quickly and high up the pitch and were decent. That said they will be livid to concede from their own corner, with 10 minutes left when we had brought everyone back. Classy finish from Holmes though and Martin (L) was inches away from nicking it with perhaps half the ball over the goal line.

£20 for my daughter and myself was good value, £2 for a mars bar wasn't.

Exiles, innit.

Pretty much echo the comments on here. A good point against a strong Crawley side. Should also mention the lack of “gamesmanship”/ play acting like you often see at this level too. Was a good watch and an entertaining game against 2 sides that wanted the 3 points.
