I recall from a while back that cheaper tickets were available via Tesco Clubcard deals but nobody knew whether tickets were available for the away section in this way. Anyone?

No, I'm pretty sure it was only in a particular home section.

It appears that they charge an extra £1 booking online whether or not you have it posted or collect at ticket office - is there any point in doing it in that case?

It seems you have the option of parking at the ground for £5 or parking at the station and going on the shuttle bus. The bus is £1. How much is it to park at the station on a Ssaturday?
