Any EFL fine has to be paid. Money spent on a fine is money not available to spend elsewhere.
But not where half the players were. Most of them were celebrating near the centre circle at the time.Simple Answer
That's where the tunnel is.
You'd allow him the right to get to the dressing rooms also?Well to be perdantic he had a right to be within the technical area, but he did not have the right to allegedly assault a young fan.
This is the more frustrating part for me. A few minutes of fun, and we lose out on a player for next season as we're paying a fine instead.Any EFL fine has to be paid. Money spent on a fine is money not available to spend elsewhere.
How did him allegedly tripping up a young city fan aid his journey to the dressing rooms? You'd allow him the right to get to the dressing rooms also?
Yes, afraid so. Another example, the Lincoln fans standing at the front and refusing to go to their seats were trying to goad the stewards to react to their pushing and shoving, while recording it on their phones. Then when they didnt react I saw one just grin and walk away. A couple were ejected but it calmed down eventually.Oh and next time, you celebrate with both arms. Not with one arm in the air and the other holding a mobile phone. Some of the scenes i've witnessed at these play off games afterwards with fans jumping up and down whilst simultaneously recording everything has been super cringeworthy. Modern times i guess. Embarrassing though nonetheless.
Have you been to Wembley?I agree with elginCity
Will these people invade the pitch at Wembley through a similar overwhelming wave of sheer joy if Exeter won the final?
No. Because they know there would be actual and real consequences for them if they did so.
At least show some consistency and do the same at Wembley. Then i might believe last nights effort was one borne out of joy and not the fact that there weren't enough stewards or police around to stop them being their real motivation.
