With just a few home games remaining, it's time we got a 5.5k crowd. Usually the crowds increase as each remaining match becomes more crucial and hence more exciting.
Come on Exeter folk : Matt and the team have worked their socks off this season and they should expect some real support to get over the line.

Ah, but did he celebrate it? We need to know.
In my imagination, he walked to the technical area and had a cup of tea and a digestive biscuit. He did not dunk this biscuit.

Our average gates are already up about 250 over last season. Any late-season boost (not something we experienced last season) would see that gap get bigger.

His interview on Devon Live shows how laid back/shy he is. Respect for him for constantly fighting back to win over the critics.

Maybe with a little help from Stagsnet, but don't tell Snoop that I've told you.
Nonsense, all my own work FBH! ;)

Actually, we did. The last 5 games (which included a rearranged midweek one v. relegation threatened Chesterfield - always a pointer to lower attendances) had big increases on forecast, culminating with a crowd of over 4600 for the final game v. Colchester. This was 250 above the average for the rest of the season and nearly 500 better than forecast, despite disappointing away numbers. The home crowd numbers were even better than that, about 560 better than forecast and 300 better than the season average. The 4 Saturday games averaged almost 4,200 home fans.

We can expect something similar or even better this year if we stay in the playoff places, as we are already running well ahead of last year's actuals, around 400 per game based on 19 games.
