The phoenix club Scarborough Athletic now play at Flamingo Land Stadium and have made it back to Tiverton's level of football (Level 7).

Nice one RD.
Remember it well.Got a real soaking.I tried to get into the grandstand,but because it was so small,it had sold out.
The game would have been postponed these days with the pitch that waterlogged.
Just about dried out by the time the coach got back to Exeter at 1030pm.

Who is the chap with the white jacket ? I remember him,he went to loads of games in that era.
I can just see myself at the back with the blue kagool.
The game was 13/10/1987..Lost 3-1,Steve Phillips(who was on loan,scored for the Grecians)

Perhaps they could change their name to Scarborough Flamingo, almost has a Brazilian "ring" to it.
