So with you Greeks keep telling us on BB how much money you have got at the club. Why are the directors asking the fans to pay for a new pitch? big pay rises heading the directors way?

Looks like the Greeks aren't happy at all with the idea of them paying either.

As the Gargs qouted their new pitch to cost 400k. Sounds like Exeter are doing it on the cheap. I heard the fans are doing all the labour.

While the directors will be sat in the sun.

We think there is a treasure trove under our pitch, so we'll dig it up and have a look. Pity really, as we have some nice grass covering the entirety.

PS. Wonder when the last time we had a match abandoned due to rain.
PPS. Wonder when we last had a game postponed due to water-logging.

Which is why we will be spending 400k on the pitch this summer
(It should have been done last year but Mr Stapleton thought it would be better to make some short term cash from the Rod Stewart concert instead)

Anyway...shouldn't you be checking your spare change for more begging buckets?
Go on...

Banter aside, i'd be more than a bit unhappy with this if i was a greek.

Your fans rallied together in your hour of need.....to stump up the "hard earned" to keep the club going. A few years on and the average greek is still stumping up DD's to the trust, not to mention the season tickets, away travel etc. etc.

In the meantime you've quite recently sold players to the value of 5 times this "initiative".....who is doing your budgets?

Perhaps your two new high profile suits might forego a helicopter ride or two......hell, they might even chuck in a fiver or so too;)

That in mind you would of thought there would be no reason to re-lay the pitch but seeing as your paying for it, the directors thought they might aswell.

Er, you do realise the main reason why we need to re-lay it?
