Lampard? Lampard?

No way are we getting anyone that good. It will be Gary Johnson or that bloke who just got sacked at Bridgwater
Super Gary Johnson would be the dream appointment.

Positives from tonight for me is that Reece Cole looked a better player than I thought he was. I knew he was handy on the ball, but tonight he looked a lot more mobile. I'm more hopeful he could do more than make occasional appearances off the bench in next seasons league two scrap.
He looks captain material to me. Quite often he would be organising other players or telling them where to move to.

Too late for the bloke from Bridgwater.
He’s already been snapped up by Exmouth.

Gary Caldwell has a 3.5 year contract.

So disappointed in the lack of balls from him tonight. Wasn't on the bench until 55 minutes, sat outside directors box being protected by Gilly and a steward. Them they both escorted him at half time down to the changing rooms.

One Caldwell Out banner right opposite him in the Old Granstand.

Everyone in the Big Bank deserves a mention, fantastic support for the team, only after the final whistle did they start Caldwell Out. Just as it should be.

Final thought, the definition of insanity is trying the same thing and expecting a different outcome. Apart from a change of personal, our formation and tactics remain the same???
I was sitting a few rows in front of GC and he wasn't being 'protected' by anyone. Moreover, I watched him walk down to the tunnel just before half-time unaccompanied. By all means, criticise his managerial record but don't invent stuff just to suit your narrative.

Much too long if true unless there are break clauses permitting early termination without compensation or reduced compensation based on performance.

A contract through to June 2024 was enough to see if he was up to the job. It is easier to renew than to cancel.

Egg, well we sit close to each other then.

I am not saying anything to suit my narrative. I am saying what I saw.

Gary was sat outside the board room, with Marcus and Clive Harrison sat to his right. He was also in the board room talking to John Pitt at one point. The steward was stood to Gary's right.

Just before half time Gary went down to the changing rooms, preceeded by Andy Gillard and followed by the same steward.

I don't know the stewards name, he has been a steward for a fair few years and does go to away games alot.

Should have taken a picture, but I am not that much of a stalker!

Cannot dispute that results have been appalling hence the pressure for GC to go but who would replace him ?

Lampard or some other journeyman who has been sacked by numerous clubs?
Lampard? Are you mental? I wouldn’t let that charlatan manage an u-9s side. If you want worse than Caldwell then appoint Lampard.

He was accompanied by a steward who walked down a few steps behind him, but so what, that's just protocol, or being sensible. Last thing anyone needs is an incident or altercation with an angry fan.

One of my gripes against the club is that the length of GC's contract has never (as far as I am aware) announced. How do you know that he has a 3.5 year contract? Not an accusation, purely interested.
