Dont know if there is any truth in the rumour at all but he did play under Micky Adams at Brighton back in 2001.

I liked what I saw of Ben Watson. Thought he looked a hungry sharp confident striker. A pos prob 4 ben is that he didnt really get a chance last season to show what he could do. And If pt sticks to the same formula as last season, ie give the team that took us up a good chance to prove themselves. how long b4 be gets a chance, Xmas? maybe someone like Adams coming in and saying well you will be starting or there abouts for us, maybe thats an offer Ben could be interested in? All supposition. And ahead of A S, for me, not at the mo.
