Is 20/20 now considered the long game?

Marvellous. Even let the kids stay up to watch the highlights as it might not happen again until 2125.

Time to really rub the noses in it. Score 500 by teatime and win by let's say an Innings & 250 about 2.55 on Saturday afternoon so I can wander on to the Big Bank knowing the Ashes are back home.

Imagine IF Jimmy Anderson was fit and playing, 20 all out I reckon.

4 days to go and with decent forecast predicted and the 4-man bowling attack of Australia, I don't see any reason why England can't bat until lunch time on Saturday and finish them off on Sunday.

Quite remarkable.

As the Strines say: when you have your foot on the other bloke's throat, tread harder.

Hoping we bat all day Friday and through to lunch on Saturday for around 700 and blow them away by the close. An innings and 500 run defeat would do nicely. (y)

Brilliant from Broad - not convinced some of the shots covered the Aussies in glory but sill 8-15 in any game is a incredible effort.

Root is turning in to one of the best Bat's in world cricket and could well be Englands greatest the way he's going.

I hope England go out and play Twenty20 style today and get runs on the board asap - give licence to Stokes & Butler to play their natural game.

Aussies batting like Aussies 2nd time round...

England batted exactly the right way this morning scoring quickly.
