It would have been interesting if we had drawn at Spurs & how many would have turned up to SJP.
I wonder if there was a plan if that senario did happen?

The ground did not need a Safety Certificate in those days & there was no electronic counting system on the turnstiles,so it would have been difficult to judge when the 18,500 capacity was reached(may have been a bit more with that dodgy temporary scaffold terrace that was erected for the Newcastle game & left there until the next season.

17,668 attendance, so maybe a few more could have squeezed in.
