If you start to type a comment, leave the page and come back later, the half-typed comment will still be there in the 'reply box'.

This is useful if you are writing a long comment/match report/rant etc, but a PITA if you decide not to comment at all.

That's what I meant in my discussion with TE above. So I just delete the original text, write " comment deleted" and send it. You can't actually remove/cancel the box.

Custom emojis are cool, but they don't really get used unless they can serve as a reaction. Angry / happy / gurning / laughing etc. work well.

Click your username (in the top right), then 'preferences'. There's an option to hide signatures in that menu.

Do you mean the stuff below the line such as Jason’s 1993 Easter Saturday thing ?
It reminds me of Pashitty which is reason enough to give it the The Elbow
