Unfortunately you are spot on apart from Chesterfield are the home side .
They won’t rush and appoint a new manager now there’s no point.

I expect there will be noises coming out from the players of how they will go all out for a win, but I expect Wycombe
Players will be in there ears after a few hard tackles saying is it worth it .
Yes, you're right of course. Actually Wycombe's away record is comparable with their home, IINM.
You never know in football : we could also lose at Stevenage (but don't think we will). But logic points to Wycombe at least not losing.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
It might help slightly if Morecambe lose home to Cambridge tonight. That would at least mean that Chesterfield wouldn't be mathematically down at 3pm on Saturday. I imagine however Morecambe may pick up what they need tonight, and Chesterfield probabably are aware they will go down.

We would have to hope that the caretaker is motivated to get a performance out of them to get himself the job, and the players play with some more freedom, although I expect Wycombe to win. While I hope we beat Stevenage comfortably it would benefit it us for it to be a tough narrow victory. Stevenage are probably more likely to get something off Wycombe on the last day if they are competitive against us. Wouldn't look good if we easily roll them over three nil.

At least if we end up in play offs we only have to think about our match.

See what you want , that’s the whole point isn’t it
It’s not me seeing what I want they are the facts and figures which in the past you yourself have used
E.g how many home wins we had in a calendar year.

Also don’t get your one dimensional over two legs point ?

Wycombe will pip us. We blew it badly Saturday as I think both us and them will now get 6 from 6 and we could / should be sat in front right now......

As for the play offs, utter lottery but will our history of lose in '7 win in '8 from the Conference days be an omen............

Too tough a call now. I'm very confident that both teams will not get max points, too much riding on it and too many nerves, so whichever one who manages it will go up and deservedly so. Ever the optimist it could be us. Why bother if you cannot dream about that outcome

Remember two years ago when Accrington were 2 points clear of Bristol Rovers going into the final game at home to Stevenage who were in the bottom half. They drew and Rovers won meaning they somehow missed out on the autos in a game that looked a ‘home banker’.

Nerves will play a huge part on the run in so you can’t just assume Wycombe will win both due to the position of their opposition.

Ok so we’re in the same boat to a degree but at this stage Wycombe have it all to lose and they’re missing some key players. Think there will be some crazy twists between now and 5pm on 5th May.

Yes and Chesterfield have become a complete basket case. That said, this is League 2 and predicting results is a nightmare.

Got a feeling wycombe are on a wobble without Akinfenwa , looking on their forum it sounds like they can't play without him!

Is the correct answer unfortunately. Now if one of their games wasn't against Chesterfield who knows........

Let's not forget Notts County, it's a THREE horse race, for the final "auto" spot and they have a superior goal difference to both of us ! They are just one point behind us, although they do have a potential "humdinger" of a final day fixture at home to Luton.
